Culture Clash
Built with a team of five at GreatUniHack 2025. A Next.js app that generates AI fusion recipes across 28 cuisines – pick two food cultures and Google Gemini blends them into structured recipes with ingredient-origin tracking and generated flag imagery. TypeScript end to end, engineered properly for a hackathon build: API caching with TTLs, rate limiting, error boundaries, and full keyboard and screen-reader accessibility.
Wendy
A real-time scam-call detection concept for elderly users, built same-day at an internal IBM hackathon (Bob-a-thon). Next.js and TypeScript on IBM Carbon, listening to a live call and flagging manipulation patterns as they surface.
